How it works

Consultation: Call us or fill out this form to set up an consultation appointment. We’ll talk about what we can offer and what kind of images you’re looking for. We’ll also discuss clothing, costumes, props, makeup and hairstyles.

Session: Most sessions are held in our studio, although we can go on location for an additional $150. At the session, feel free to bring a friend, if you’d like. We have a private dressing room and robes available. The photographer (Paul) and his assistant (Julie) will be present during the entire session.

Viewing: After the session, you can view and choose your images immediately, or you can set up an appointment for viewing later. If you view later, it gives us time to do an initial edit, taking out blinks and blurries, and maybe adding a special effect or two.

Ordering: We have a large selection of print sizes, collages, wall portraits, albums and “fun stuff”. There is no minimum, and we’ll help you to choose exactly what you need at a price you can afford. We also offer payment plans, and our work is 100% satisfaction guaranteed.

Pin-up Parties

Want to take your photos with a group of friends? Get together with at least three other people (4 minimum, 6 maximum) and schedule a pin-up party! Each person pays a session fee of $75 except the coordinator, who gets her session for free! Each person can bring up to three outfits, and we’ll photograph both individuals and groups (if desired).

  • Can I bring a friend to my session?
Sure, that’s a great idea! We may even put them to work helping you with outfit changes or holding props.
  • So what’s this going to cost me?
Session fees are listed above. After that, it depends entirely on what you want. All prints and products are the same as our family prices, and we can provide that price list to you.
  • Do you do hair and makeup?
No, that’s up to you. We can recommend some wonderful people, some of whom will even come to your session for touch-ups and changes.
  • Who will see my images?
Only the people you show them to. All the images on our brochure and website are from people who have specifically signed a model release allowing us to show their images.
  • How long does it take to get my prints or album?
That depends on the time of year and what you order, but usually between 4 and 8 weeks.
  • Are you the same Paul as Paul Wood Photography?
Yep, that’s me. We split out the marketing for pin-up and boudoir to reflect its more intimate nature.
  • I’m in! How do I book a session?
Great! Give us a call at 985-649-3234 our fill out our contact form here.
